Pokemon

Pokémon originated in Japan and is a very popular franchise.

The Pokémon universe revolves around fictional creatures called Pokémon. These can be caught, trained and fought. Each Pokémon has unique traits, skills and types such as; Fire, water, grass, etc. Trainers strive to build strong teams of Pokémon and compete against other Trainers to win championships and prizes. 

In addition to the games and animated series, the Pokémon franchise is also known for its collectible card game, in which players collect, trade, and play cards. The cards represent different Pokémon with different powers and abilities, and players can develop strategies to battle each other.
